3. Isaac HOWARTH. Born abt 1810 in Oswaldtwistle. Isaac died in 1875, he was 65. Buried on 20 Aug 1875 at Mount Pleasant.4 Isaac was baptized at Whalley or Accrington on 20 Jul 1810.3 Occupation: Bookkeeper(1851), Cotton manufacturer & Beerseller(61), Grocer(71). Reference #: 41.85.

Sons Moses & Elias were born before Isaac's marriage to Jane. Whether they are Isaac's sons by a previous marriage or he has adopted Jane's sons I have yet to discover.


On 25 Mar 1851 when Isaac was 41, he married Jane HARTLEY, in Church.5 Born abt 1811. Jane died in 1875, she was 64. Buried on 11 Jun 1875 at Mount Pleasant.4 Reference #: 51.7.

They had the following children:
