On 5 Jul 1819 when Joseph was 19, he married Alice CHADWICK, in Church.² Born abt 1800 in Accrington. Alice died in 1877, she was 77. Buried on 18 Jun 1877 at Mount Pleasant.¹ Reference #: 41.80.

	viii.	Mary Ann. Born in 1840 in Oswaldtwistle. Mary Ann died in 1918, she was 78. Buried on 8 May 1918 at Mount Pleasant. Occupation: 1861:Cotton Power loom weaver. Reference #: 41.52. Was shown as Margaret on the 1851
