1. George HAWORTH was born abt 1810. He died in Oswaldtwistle bef 1850, he was 39. Occupation: Cotton Weaver. Reference #: 41.26.

On 5 Nov 1832 he married Catherine WALSH, daughter of Zacheus and Millicent WALSH at Church Kirk 2 Reference #: 41.27.

They had the following children:

ii. Ann. Born abt 1833 in Oswaldtwistle.
3 iii. James (~1836-)
iv. Catherine. Born abt 1848 in Oswaldtwistle. Catherine died in Oswaldtwistle in 1873, she was 25.3

On 6 Jul 1872 when Catherine was 24, she married Samuel DUCKWORTH, son of Edward DUCKWORTH (~1817-1879) & Ellen (~1818-1876), in Immanuel.4 Born abt 1850 in Oswaldtwistle. Samuel died in Oswaldtwistle on 7 May 1928, he was 78.5 Buried at Immanuel.

vi. Elizabeth. Born abt 1845 in Oswaldtwistle.
vii. Caroline. Born abt 1847 in Oswaldtwistle. At the age of 24, Caroline was baptized at St James' , Church Kirk on 1 Jan 1871.6

Caroline married Richard GRIMSHAW.

On 1 Apr 1850 when Catherine was 36, she second married James BRINDLE, in St James' , Church Kirk.2

They had the following children:
i. Ellen. Born in 1850 in Oswaldtwistle.
ii. Susan. Born abt 1852 in Oswaldtwistle.
iii. Maria. Born abt 1856 in Oswaldtwistle.
iv. Sarah. Born abt 1858 in Oswaldtwistle.
v. Mary J. Born abt 1859 in Oswaldtwistle.
