Baptism record lists NO father, however when married gives a father's name of John.
Family remained in Belthorn - this moved parishes!

On 1 Jan 1838 when John Pickup was 22, he married Nancy GRIMSHAW, daughter of Richard GRIMSHAW, in Church.³ Born abt 1818 in Oswaldtwistle. Reference #: 41.330.
