3. Ashton HAWORTH. Born abt 1826 in Blackburn (61, 71: CLM). Ashton died in 1876, he was 50. Buried on 29 Apr 1876 at Church.2 Ashton was baptized at Great Harwood on 12 Feb 1826.1 Occupation: 1851: Paver. Reference #: 51.62.

1841, 1861, 1871 New Accrington

In 1848 when Ashton was 22, he married Phoebe CHAMBERS, in Accrington St James.3 Born abt 1818 in Oswaldtwistle. Reference #: 51.63.

They had the following children:
i. Ellen. Born in 1849 in Oswaldtwistle. Ellen was baptized at Church on 11 Feb 1849.4 Reference #: 61.64.

5 iii. Richard (1854-1931)
iv. Alice. Born on 25 May 1857.4 Alice was baptized at Church on 21 Jun 1857.4 Reference #: 81.83.

On 7 Mar 1885 when Alice was 27, she married John MITCHELL, in Church.1
